Human Rights: Child Rights Bill to be tabled in NA

The 18th Amendment has paved way for the right to education and a fair trial for everyone.

ISLAMABAD: Adviser to Prime Minister on Human Rights Mustafa Nawaz Khokar on Thursday said that the 18th Amendment has paved way for the right to education and a fair trial for everyone. In a meeting with the Sweden’s special envoy to Afghanistan Ambassador Niclas Trove, Khokhar said that the government had taken concrete steps to ensure the implementation of human rights in the country. The adviser added that a child rights bill was to be tabled in the National Assembly soon which would include legislation on child trafficking and child pornography.
